Help me to Suffer....

I listened to a woman at work say these very words a while back. She was in extreme pain from a healing broken back. And Instead of asking hwhy/Yahuah to take the pain from her, she said, "Lord help me suffer." 

Wow. This was very sobering to me. 

How often do we all ask hwhy/Yahuah to take away our long-suffering, our trials, our aches and pains? How often are we crying “woe is me”? Be honest with yourself. You don’t have to speak it to another living soul.  hwhy/Yahuah’s Word says that our suffering is rewarded.

“And after you have suffered a little while, the hwhy/Yahuah of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in [cwhy, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”  1 Peter 5:10

 

We should be grateful for our sufferings and trials.

 

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

 

“More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because hwhy/YaHUaH's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

When is the last time we actually thanked hwhy/YaHUaH for something that we were suffering thru, giving Him glory? How often to we instead ask for Him to end the suffering and to take the trial away? It happens all the time. 
“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18

It broke my heart to hear this woman, in so much pain say only, “Lord, I know I must suffer just help me and I will be alright.” Even now as I recollect on this moment I am brought to tears. Just something to think about. Tonight, when you pray, think of the trials and sufferings you are going through at this moment. Given the current state of things today; shut down, job losses, protests, evil running rampant in the world, etc...; Give hwhy/YaHUaH the Glory for these and ask Him to help you through them and to help you retain the message He has for you. Thank Him for the strength He will give you though this suffering and tribulation. I know I will, no matter the trial or long-suffering that is before me, Adonai [cwhy/Yahusha, please help me to suffer, help me to face the trial and learn what you have to teach me, in Your precious name. AMEN
