DREAM: My husband's Dream

The following is a dream my husband told me and I transcribed it. I went over my transcription with him to ensure I captured all the details.

 He said he was in an unfamiliar house. He said I was there, our daughter, my mom, her husband, and many others not recognized. He was walking around the place and said he could hear my mother’s husband and another talking about the usual (work, etc) I was speaking with my mother in the kitchen, but he does not know what of. No one was paying mind to his presence and no one speaks to him. He said he was moving through the house as if he was not there, but he was. He said at one point he picked up a compound crossbow... it was narrow as if draw force had been applied but was made to pierce. So, he sat it back down. There was a smallish TV on one wall playing news. The news casters were at a desk but outside talking about something, they seemed to be like sports casters. He said he sat down on a couch that was in the dining room type area facing the TV.  Our daughter was in front of him off to the left. approx. 7 ft away. 

Then there was a SUDDEN LOUD blast of a shofar that started off with a long high note followed by a long low note. He said everyone in the house stopped what they were doing as the heard it. He said the only thing I said was something like, "Glory to God .... so beautiful" Then there was a rushing sound like that of many waterfalls, or jet engines en mass . (I perceive it to be like an extremely loud white noise) It started low, then rapidly rose in volume. He has stated many times since this dream that he cannot give an accurate description of the sound because he has never heard anything like it before.

The TV showed the camera man picking up the camera to face an area off to the left of the screen to view what resembled a mushroom-like cloud. He said there were 2. One closer and one much further in the distance. The closer one, he stated, looked like a lollypop on a stick but had a faint inner (close to the outline) symbol resembling the Omega symbol. It was not a prominent symbol but visible. Our daughter ran to the right at hearing the sound. My husband said he was going to jump up off the couch(dream couch he was sitting on) but felt a pressure holding him there. He was not afraid, only surprised. So, he said that he just put his hands up to his sides, leaned back into the couch and closed his eyes accepting whatever was coming next. He said his vision went from the darkness you see when you close your eyes and then it grew brighter (grey) as if from dark to light. 

Then he snapped awake at exactly at 0230. He then woke me seconds later and told me of it. His eyes were wide, and he seemed… alert… He did not eat for 48 hours after that. And this dream continues to plague his mind.
