Choose Today Whom You Will Obey...

Mandates, mandates, mandates. Do this or you can't do this. Do this or you can't keep your job. It's for your own good........

We all know what we're talking about. The picture above makes it clear without the need to use the fact checker trigger words.

What do we do when a mandate, or command is another word for it, contradicts the Word of Yahuah?

There are a few people we can look to for inspiration and strength. I'll go in chronological order, starting with the mother of Mushah (moo-shah, known as Moses to most), Yokebed (yo-keh-bed).

Yokebed

SHEMOTH  -  EXODUS 1:22 & 2:1-3 (BYNV)

And Farah [pharaoh] commanded all his people, saying, “Throw every son who is born into the river, and keep alive every daughter.”

. . .

And a man of the house of Lui went and married a daughter of Lui. And the ashah conceived and bore a son. And she saw that he was a lovely child, and she hid him three months. And when she could hide him no longer, she took an ark of wicker for him, and coated it with tar and pitch, and put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the edge of the river.

BAMIDBAR — NUMBERS 26:59 (BYNV)

And the name of Amram’s ashah was Yokebed the daughter of Lui, who was born to Lui in Mitsrim. And to Amram she bore Aharon and Mushah and their sister Miryam.

Farah / Pharaoh put out a command/mandate for every male child born (babies, toddlers) to be killed by throwing them into the river. Why? Eugenics, aka population control. The Hebrews were quickly growing in number and would soon out number the Mitsrites / Egyptians. Farah feared this, seeing that they were growing to be more numerous and stronger than they, and that they might join the enemies of Mitsrim and fight against them. First, he made them slaves with slave-masters over them, making them work hard. But, Yahuah continued to increase their numbers. So he made their work very harsh and laborious. When that did not work he put out a command to the midwives to kill all male children born but let the female children born live. But fearing Yahuah, the midwives did not comply and instead fabricated an excuse. This led to Farah giving the command in 1:22 (See Shemoth/Exodus 1)

Yokebed hid her male baby for 3 months. She did not comply to the mandate/command to hand over the male babies to be killed. Her next move lead to the eventual deliverance of the people of Yisharal. Her defiance to the Farah's command was an act of faith and obedience to Yahuah.

Mushah gained valuable experience during his time in the palace, that would help him to handle the responsibility of leading the people (with Aharon, his brother, as his voice). He was chosen by Yahuah to deliver the children/people of Yisharal (Yakub/Jacob).

Shadrak, Meyshak, & Abed-Nego

DANIAL 3:1 , 4-6 , 12-13 , 16-18 & 23-27

Nebukadnetser the king made a tselem [image] of gold, whose height was 60 cubits and its width 6 cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babel.

. . .

Then a herald loudly proclaimed, “To you it is commanded, O peoples, Guyim, and languages, that as soon as you hear the sound of the horn, the flute, the zither, the lyre, the harp, the pipes, and all kinds of instruments [playing the anthem], you shall fall down and do obeisance to the gold image that King Nebukadnetser has set up. And whoever does not fall down and do obeisance is immediately thrown into the midst of a burning furnace of fire.”

. . .

There are certain Yahudim whom you have set over the work of the province of Babel: Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed- Nego. These men, O king, pay no heed to you. They do not serve your alahin, and they are not doing obeisance to the gold image which you have set up.” Then Nebukadnetser, in rage and wrath, gave orders to bring Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed-Nego.

. . .

Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebukadnetser, we have no need to answer you in this matter. “For if so, our Alah whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning furnace of fire and from your hand, king – He does deliver! But if not, let it be known to you, king, that we do not serve your elahin, nor do we do obeisance to the gold image which you have set up.”

. . .

And these three men, Shadrak,  Meyshak, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning furnace of fire. Then King Nebukadnetser was amazed, and stood up in haste and spoke and said to his counsellors, “Did we not throw 3 men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “Certainly, O king.” He answered and said, “Look! I see 4 men loose, walking in the midst of the fire. And they are not hurt, and the form of the 4th is like the Son of Alah.”… …Then Shadrak, Meyshak, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the viceroys, the nobles, and the governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, seeing these men on whose bodies the fire had  no power, and the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments changed, nor did the smell of fire come on them.

(Sorry that was a bit lengthy)

Here we see it again. A command, or mandate, from the Babylonian King went out that all should fall down and worship this golden image he created when they heard the musical instruments or else be thrown into the fiery furnace. This command/mandate went against Yahuah's Turah of Love, the Love of Yahuah above all else (serving no other). To bow down and worship an image would be in DIRECT VIOLATION of Yahuah's commands that trump ALL man made commands/mandates or laws. They did not fear the repercussions of disobeying the King's command/mandate. They instead placed their fear where it belonged, Fear the one who has the power to destroy both your body and ruach(spirit/soul). [No... I'm not talking about the kind of fear that one experiences watching a scary movie or such, but the sort of fear a child has of their parent. Fear that is more like respect and love.] They defied the King's command/mandate.

As a result, they were thrown into the fiery furnace after pronouncing to the King that they would not comply. But Yahuah saved them from the deadly flames that took the lives of their captors.

Danial

This takes place in Chapter 6, I'll summarize it as get to the point. However, please open up your scriptures (have you purchased your BYNV yet????)  and read chapter 6.

After Babylon fell to the hands of Media & Persia, there was a new King in town.  King Daryush (Darius). Now King Daryush actually liked Danial, so much in fact that he made him one of the 120 viceroys appointed over the land. However, the other governors and viceroys did NOT like him because he literally outshined them in every way.

After seeing that they could find no fault to hold against him naturally, they plotted together to create a fault. They went to King Daryush and convinced him to sign a royal decree/command/mandate, that for 30 days no one should petition any other mighty one besides the King, or they would be thrown into the lion's den. That was how they knew they could find a fault (though be it a fabricated one) with Danial, as they knew that he would not cease his daily prayers and petitions to Yahuah; which he did 3x a day.

They wasted no time in exposing Danial's disobedience to the royal decree/command/mandate to the King. Because the King could not undo his own royal decree, he had to follow it himself. Danial was sentenced to be thrown into the lion's den for not complying with the royal decree/command/mandate. Now King Daryush was not happy about this one bit. He prayed that Danial's alah, Yahuah, would deliver him from the lions. The viceroys were hoping for his death.

Danial was thrown into the lion's den and a heavy stone was placed over the opening. But Yahuah delivered him from the hungry lions, sending a messenger to close their mouths. King Daryush was over joyed when he saw that Danial was completely unharmed the next morning. Then the King had Danial's accusers, them, their children, and their wives cast into the den of lions.

YOU CAN SAY NO TO A 'MANDATE' when it goes against YAHUAH'S TURAH and WORD.

I say NO.

I will NOT allow my child to come to harm,

I will NOT bow down to the image,

I will NOT petition or worship a ruling office

I will face the earthly consequences.

I will face the fire and the lions.

Shatan and the dark principalities at work have no power over me.

I am a child of Yahuah Alahim.

Saved by Yahusha Mashiak.

I will obey Yahuah's Turah.

NOT the voice of man.

May the Qodesh Ruach of Yahusha Mashiak, who is Yahuah Alahim in the flesh (They are ONE) be your ONLY guiding Light.

In the Love of Yahusha Mashiak
