Obedience to The Father Yahuah(YHVH)
Many of us will say that we are obedient to our Father.
But how many of us truly are?
Are we willing to obey Him in EVERYTHING no matter how heartbreaking it may be to our flesh?
So what is True obedience to the Father?
What would happen If we delayed in our obedience?
YHVH has shown me that delayed obedience is rebellion and disobedience all together. I have listed some scriptures and examples of obedience throughout the Bible. NOTE: I have not listed every instance in the WORD, I have only included a few, as this post would be 3 days long if I did that. Enjoy. Please feel free to comment.

Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis] 2:15-17
Yahuah [YHVH,
our Sovereign God and Creator] gives them a direct order not to eat from the
tree of knowledge of good and evil. He even warns them of the
consequences.
Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis] 3:1-11
αΈ€awwah[Eve]
is deceived by the devil, and she falls for his lies and DISOBEYS the Fathers
ONLY instruction. Her punishment can be seen throughout time.
Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis]6-7
Story of Noach
YHVH
gave Noach exact directions on what he was do and when it was to be complete
by. If Noach had delayed in his obedience to get started on the Arc, it
would not have been finished in time and they would have suffered the same
punishment as the WORLD. If he had disobeyed even in the dimensions of the Arc
then there would not have been enough room. Noach started building the
Arc around the age of 500 and went into the Arc at 600. It took 100 years to
finish. Now Noach had never seen rain, the villagers that saw him building this
Arc, a giant boat and they must have mocked him, laughed at him and told him he
was crazy. No one believed there was a great flood coming as judgment for their
sin. But by Noach’s obedience, he and his family were saved.
Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis]12:1-5
If Avram
had not obeyed YHVH as soon as he received instruction to do so, Yisrael may not
be the people they are today. It took a leap of faith and sheer obedience to
the Father’s word and instruction for him to receive the land promised.
Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis]19:
23-26
Lot had
obeyed instruction to hurry out of Sodom to the small village nearby. By
his obedience he was spared, however they were instructed not to look back as
they hurried away, yet his wife was disobedient and looked back. She was turned
to a pillar of salt. She was held back by her inability to leave behind what
was familiar, comfortable, and known to her. She was uneasy of leaving behind
all she knew and had, and it utterly KILLED her. Disobedience leads to death,
whether it is spiritual death or physical. Just remember, spiritual death does
eventually lead to physical death, unless one is BORN again in Yahusha.
Bereshith/1 Mosheh[Genesis]22:
1-19
Avraham
showed GREAT obedience to YHVH and showed he was willing to give up EVERYTHING
even his ONLY son. When Avraham showed this obedience and was willing to
sacrifice his own son in obedience to YHVH the Father, YHVH sent his angel to
stop it and HE PROVIDED THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB. Little did Avraham know
that this was a HUGE foreshadowing of our Lord and Messiah Yahusha. If Avraham
had been disobedient, then can we say safely that Yahusha would still have died
for our sins? YHVH provided the sacrificial lamb for us and He paid the
ultimate price for us. The reward for Avraham’s obedience was not only
the nation of Yisrael growing, but when Yahusha died, the native olive tree of Yisrael
had a wild olive branch (the Gentiles) grafted on to it. Thus, Yisrael
(spiritual) consists of YHVH’s chosen people (All who Trust and Faithfully
follow Yahusha, His Son. Jew and Gentile alike) This shows us, that if we
are obedient in ANYTHING YHVH asks of us and are willing to sacrifice even our
most beloved things, our rewards will be great.
The Shemoth
[Exodus] of Hebrews (read Book of Shemoth/2 Mosheh[Exodus])
If Mosheh[Moses]
had been disobedient to YHVH and not gone into Mitsrayim[Egypt] then Yisrael
would not have been delivered. Mosheh had to leave behind his entire
family in Midian; Wife, sons, Father-in-law, etc… Everything he knew.
This was not the first time he left behind all he knew. When he fled Mitsrayim
he was leaving behind the only mother and father he had ever known. But he
needed to leave that comfortable way of life so that he died to that part of himself.
He was given a new life seated with YHVH as the foundation in Midian. He was
given a wife and sons. When he had learned to die to self, YHVH sent him back
to Mitsrayim to deliver the Hebrew slaves. He didn’t want to do it, he even
protested YHVH. But instead of disobeying he obeyed and Yisrael was delivered.
Ester[Esther]
4:14
MordeαΈ΅ai
reminds Ester[Esther] that she needs to be obedient to YHVH. His very plan may
have been to put her in her elevated place of power for that time exactly. Had
she disobeyed, deliverance would have come from another source, but at what
cost? Countless lives would have been lost. Haman would have never been exposed
for the traitor he was. Esther would have been killed too because of who she
was, a Hebrew.
Mattith’Yahu[Matthew]
2:13-15
Yosef
was told to flee to Mitsrayim that very night. If he had delayed in his obedience,
then Herod’s soldiers may have found them and Yahusha would have been killed.
But Yosef fled to safety and stayed there until he was told to go back. This
obedience saved Yahusha life as an infant.
